How to Add a Video to an Email

1. Copy the Vimeo link
   Open the video in Vimeo, click Share, and copy the video link.
2. Capture the video thumbnail
   Take a screenshot of the video's opening frame or thumbnail.
3. Add a play button
   Open the screenshot in
   Canva Free,
   add a play-button icon over the center of the image, and export it as a PNG or JPG.
4. Insert the image into Outlook
   Start your email in Outlook. Go to Insert and select
   Insert Photo, then choose the finished video thumbnail you saved.
5. Link the image to the video
   Click the image to select it, press Command + K on Mac
   (Ctrl + K on Windows), paste the Vimeo link, and select
   OK.
6. Add this note below the image
   (If the video image does not appear, please select “Download Images” in your email client.)
7. Test before sending
   Click the image to confirm that it opens the correct Vimeo video.
